THE Chancel Choir sings at the 10:15 AM service on all but fourth Sundays and for all special services with choir. While we do have some professional singers in this excellent ensemble, most of the choir consists of committed volunteers who love to sing and for whom music plays a large role in their worship experience. Our parish is affiliated with the American branch of the Royal School of Church Music (RSCM-America).

We use the RSCM training materials in the Voice for Life scheme. This program provides a framework for choral singers to develop their vocal skills, their musical understanding, and their knowledge of the repertoire. Those who are interested in singing with this choir are invited to contact any choir member to arrange for attending a rehearsal on Thursday evening.

The Chancel Choir rehearses twice weekly: Thursday at 7:15 PM to 8:45 PM; Sunday at 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM. Because we all experience schedule conflicts from time to time, and we work ahead on our music on Thursdays, if a singer can make either the Thursday evening or Sunday morning rehearsal they may sing the Sunday service with the choir. Otherwise they are cordially invited to sing with the congregation and join us at the next rehearsal.
