We have moved many meetings online and are adding some online meetings where we’ll have a chance to talk about what’s going on, pray together, etc. If you haven’t done a Zoom conference online before, you may want to start to get acquainted with this site. Simply follow this link and click on the “Sign up” button. For any meetings that happen, you will be sent a zoom link that takes you to the online meeting.
For our Saturday offerings, the Mustard Seed and St. Francis closet will be closing. However, we are working to make sure we can offer brown bag lunches for our Hot Meals guests.
Though we may be limited in our ability to be physically present to each other, there are still so many ways that each of us can be present — to one another, to what we ourselves are going through, and to the God who made us, loves us and walks with us. I encourage you to pay attention to God’s spirit and presence as you go throughout the coming days and weeks.
God of the present moment,
God who in Jesus stills the storm
and soothes the frantic heart;
bring hope and courage to all
who wait or work in uncertainty.
Bring hope that you will make them the equal
of whatever lies ahead.
Bring them courage to endure what cannot be avoided,
for your will is health and wholeness;
you are God, and we need you.
