Christian Formation

step-out-in-faith_141

The purpose of Christian Formation is to promote Spiritual Growth for Parishioners of all ages. All Saints Episcopal Church Ministries provide opportunities for Parishioners and their Families to participate in the life of the church outside the regular Sunday Morning Worship Services or be a part of the Sunday Morning Worship Services in an additional role. These Ministries are in addition to the opportunities available in the Outreach Programs of our church. If you would like further information about any of these ministries or who to contact, please contact the Church Office at (503) 777-3829 or email [email protected].

Centering Prayer Group

Centering Prayer is a receptive method of Silent Prayer. It does not replace other means of prayer but adds depth and meaning to all prayer. All Saints Centering Prayer Group meets on Mondays. Please contact the Church Office at (503) 777-3829 or email [email protected] if you would like more information.

Godly Play & Nursery

On Sunday, we have a Godly Play class for Pre-K to 5th grade. Godly Play is a Montessori based curriculum that helps child make meaning through story, wonder, and play. It nurtures their spiritual lives by honoring the centrality, competency, and capacity of children. Godly Play begins at 10:15 A.M. Students can be dropped off as early as 10:00 A.M. in the Parish Hall.

Tuesday Morning Bible Study

Tuesday Morning Bible Study meets together for the study of God's word. As we finish one book of the Bible, members make suggestions about which one to take up next.

Each member brings their own Bible, and we do not specify a certain version. Instead, we have found it helpful that we can compare translations, which often shed light on each other. Anyone who wishes to join us …

Welcome Who We Are In-Person Worship

Welcome to All Saints – we are a community desiring to transform our lives through following Christ’s healing example of gentleness, humility, compassion, forgiveness, and peace toward all. If you are visiting Portland or if you are looking for a church home with an active intergenerational community, All Saints is a church where you will find a place of quiet reflection, or joyous celebration and fellowship. No matter where you are on your journey of faith, you will find there is a place for you here—just come as you are.

The Rev. Andria Skornik, Rector

The purpose of All Saints Church is to celebrate God’s love, to seek and to serve Christ in all persons, and to go forth into the world rejoicing in the power of the Spirit. Your presence is a blessing regardless of your background, sexual orientation, gender identity, race or ethnicity, age or family structure, abilities or limitations or wherever you are in life’s journey.

All Saints Episcopal Church is a Believe Out Loud Congregation. Click here this link for more information.

Our 8:00 A.M. Rite 1 Service, held in the Chapel, is our most traditional service. All are welcome. The 10:15 A.M. is a full Rite II Service, held in the Nave, with the Sermon, Readings, Hymns, and Communion. You can participate In-Person or in the Live Premiere on our Facebook page or watch on our website. The current bulletin and service can always be found in the Online Worship section of our website.
